The REBT (rational emotive behavior therapy) Advanced Practicum is the second step to learn REBT. “Studi Cognitivi” is glad to have the opportunity to offer the same Advanced Practicum as is presented at the Albert Ellis Institute (AEI) of New York.
The class section is lead by the most internationally important and certificated REBT therapists and supervisors such as Doctor Kristene Doyle, Director of AEI, and Professor Raymond DiGiuseppe, Director of Professional Education of AEI and professor of Psychology at the St. John University of New York.
The Advanced is an intense four day practicum that includes frontal lessons and practical sessions in which participants can practice peer-counselling supervised by senior teachers. Each group is composed of 8 participants and supervised by one teacher for the whole afternoon.
During the program participants will further their knowledge of rational-emotive and cognitive behavior therapy, as well as up-to-date research and clinical applications, and will receive individual supervision in small groups with a certified REBT supervisor.
Open to psychologists, psychiatrists and graduate students. Proof of degree must accompany registration form.
Prerequisite: Primary Certificate in RE & CB
IMPORTANT:It is possible to follow both the Primary and Advanced Practicums in Milan in June 2016, one after the other. Should you not pass the final exam of the Primary Practicum, the registration fee for the Advanced will be reimbursed.
Frontal lectures and group practice sessions are offered in English. Consecutive translation into Italian will be available where necessary.
